Monica Partridge holds her\u00a0master\u2019s degree in screenwriting from the American Film Institute.<\/p>\n
She has previously evaluated screenplays as a competition reader for both the Final Draft \u201cBig Break\u201d Screenwriting Competition and the CineStory Screenwriting Competition.<\/p>\n
Additionally, she has\u00a0provided screenplay coverage for both the Edward S. Feldman Company (Witness, The Truman Show, Green Card, K:19 The Widowmaker, The Hitcher<\/em>) and Mutual Film Company (Saving Private Ryan, Wonder Boys, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Snakes on a Plane<\/em>).<\/p>\n Post AFI, she worked as assistant to screenwriter Dana Stevens<\/a> (Julie & Julia, The Deep Blue Goodbye, Life or Something Like It, For Love of the Game, City of Angels, Blink,<\/em> \u201cWhat About Brian\u201d for ABC\/Bad Robot).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Much of her early professional experience was\u00a0in journalism and corporate entertainment, with the KNBC-TV Los Angeles newsroom, NBC West Coast business development, the e-commerce division at Universal Music Group (eCAT, Global e), Open Radio (Moscow), The St. Petersburg Times (Russia) and The Vladivostok News (Russia).<\/p>\n She was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA,\u00a0attended the Polytechnic School, and holds her bachelor\u2019s in Russian language and literature from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA.<\/p>\n She provides a wide variety of script doctoring services and story rewrite notes on a consultancy\u00a0basis for writers, producers and directors.<\/p>\n She’d\u00a0love to hear from you.
